Calculate the Rivet Length

Measure the total material thickness;
Add 1.5 times the predetermined diameter;
Round up to the nearest rivet length.

Using the example above,

0.040 + 0.030 = 0.070
1.5(0.125) = 0.1875
0.1875 + 0.070 = 0.2575

  • 1/16 = 0.0625
  • 2/16 = 0.125
  • 3/16 = 0.1875
  • 4/16 = 0.25
