What is Surface Finishing?
Our Standard Surface Finishing
| Surface Finish | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard (As-Milled) (Ra 125 μin) | Quickest turnaround, visible tool marks, sharp edges, and burrs removable upon request; comparable to 125 μin Ra. |
| Bead Blast + Anodized Color | Bead blasted to #120 grit finish, then anodized for a matte appearance and enhanced corrosion resistance. |
| Anodized (Type II) | Creates a corrosion-resistant finish with multiple color options (clear, black, red, gold). |
| Anodized (Type III) | Thicker layer for wear and corrosion resistance, typically for aluminum. |
| Spray Painting – Matte | Non-reflective, smooth surface in various colors. |
| Spray Painting – High Gloss | Shiny, reflective finish in a wide range of colors. |
| Powder Coat | Durable, wear- and corrosion-resistant layer; applied via powdered paint and baked; various colors available. |
| Brushed Finish | Polished metal with a unidirectional satin finish using grit belts or abrasives. |
| Electropolished (Ra 0.8 µm, 32 µin) | Electrochemical process for polishing, passivating, and deburring; reduces roughness and enhances appearance. |
| Chemical Conversion Coat (Chem Film) | Chromate conversion coating for corrosion protection and electrical conductivity; common for aluminum. |
| Black Oxide | Conversion coating for ferrous materials; provides mild corrosion resistance and a black appearance. |

On-Demand Parts Delivered Fast with 4 Simple Steps

This is the first step in the manufacturing process. Here, you upload your 3D CAD to our backend. This file could be STEP, STP, STL, OBJ, X_T, SAT, IGS, IGES, or SLDPRT file types.
After uploading your design, our project managers will provide your feedback in the form of a real-time quotation. Additionally, you will get a quote and DFM analysis within a few hours.

As soon as you agree to our quote, our team will start working with you to bring your ideas to life. Additionally, we would provide you with a variety of surface finishing options.

This is the final step in the production cycle; delivery. We produce your prototypes and parts within a few days. After part production, we deliver them directly to your doorstep.
